Market overview

The market overview is the evidence behind a valuation. It shows real vehicles like the one you are looking at, both currently advertised and recently sold, so you can sense-check a figure against the live market.

Similar vehicles

Companion finds vehicles that closely match the one you valued, on make, model, specification, age and mileage. You see how many there are, which are for sale now, and which have sold recently.

Refine the list

The default list is the closest matches. Filter and sort it to find the comparison you want:

• Filters: listing type, seller type, registration year, colour, options, distance and mileage.
• Sort: reorder by the measure that matters, such as price or mileage.

Tightening the filters down to genuinely comparable cars gives you a much stronger read than the whole list.

Price position

Each comparable carries a price position, a plain-language read of how it is priced against the market, so you can see at a glance which listings are keen and which are ambitious.

Listing detail

Open a listing to see its price, mileage, how long it has been advertised, the seller, and the full advert text. The advert text is where the detail lives: specification, options and service history a dealer has written up.
