Getting started
How to subscribe to a feed, what we need from you, and what happens once you are set up.
Data Feeds are provisioned for your account by the Cazana team. There is no self-service signup, and feeds are supplied under a separate agreement from the API.
Subscribe
Talk to your account manager, or contact us, with:
- The feeds you want, from the catalogue.
- How you want them delivered, either SFTP or S3. See Delivery and access.
- The format you want, JSONL or CSV. See File formats.
We will confirm coverage, agree terms, and set up your subscription.
What we need to deliver
The credentials we need depend on the transport:
- SFTP. Send us the public SSH key you want to authenticate with. We create an SFTP user scoped to your own directory and return your username; the host is
sftp.cazana.com. Password authentication is available if you prefer. - S3. Either grant a role we can assume to write to your bucket, or use a bucket we provide for you to read from. See Delivery and access for both options.
Never send us a private key. We only ever need your public key.
What happens next
- We provision your transport and subscribe you to the feeds you chose.
- We confirm your connection details and the location your files will land.
- Files begin arriving on schedule, one snapshot per feed per day.
The first delivery is a full snapshot, the same as every delivery after it, so you have the complete dataset from day one.
